In a world that can feel a bit monochrome, this radiant trio of feathered sculptures is a joyful reminder that harmony isn’t just about sound—it’s about colour, character, and presence. Each bird chirps with its own hue, yet together they sing a unified chorus of optimism. Whether perched on a shelf or in the imagination, these avian charmers invite us to embrace our individuality while celebrating togetherness. Because when life gets colourful, joy always finds a way to trill.

My Optimism of Color Blog
Every Tuesday and Friday, I post a photo or piece of art that I’ve created that reflects what I call the Optimism of Color. Through vibrant colors and bold visceral forms, these works shout out my joy at being alive, and my good fortune at being able to continue to make art after surviving five cardiac arrests in one night in 2011.
Each of the images I post brings a smile to my face. I hope they bring you similar joy and laughter through the Optimism of Color.
