My collection of vacuum tubes and their colourful vintage packaging forms the basis of Connected 2, my latest art box assemblage. While looking closely at a bunch of electrical fuses, I found myself enchanted with their design. And as I found every angle pleasing, I decided to display them in different configurations along the borders of the vintage typesetter tray. Plastic radio dials and other bits ‘n’ bobs of connecting things round out this piece. Connected 2 measures 16.5″ high x 32″ wide.

My Optimism of Color Blog
