Rooted in the primal clash of natural forces, “Elemental Rift” channels the raw energy of a world in flux. Earth shifts. Power surges. Chaos and beauty collide in a visceral dance, an ode to nature’s untamed spirit.
Political tension, personal reckoning, and the elemental language of colour converge in “Flashpoint Rising”. While I was working on it, the world felt perched on a precipice. Everywhere, the atmosphere seemed charged, brittle, one spark away from ignition. That sense of collective crisis found its way into the canvas. Pressure becomes transformation, the beginning of something new.

My Optimism of Color Blog
Every Tuesday and Friday, I post a photo or piece of art that I’ve created that reflects what I call the Optimism of Color. Through vibrant colors and bold visceral forms, these works shout out my joy at being alive, and my good fortune at being able to continue to make art after surviving five cardiac arrests in one night in 2011.
Each of the images I post brings a smile to my face. I hope they bring you similar joy and laughter through the Optimism of Color.
